Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Cagle Pugh is a full-service law firm built by native Texans for the express purpose of serving Texas community associations and businesses. We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal that is organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. This person must be a team player and be self-motivated, and able to keep up with a fast pace. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in litigation maintenance, trial preparation, document management, heavy calendaring, the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and operate well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Draft answers, notices, affidavits, motions & petitions, correspondence, discovery requests, resolutions, policies & management certificates; - Prepare and coordinate document production and responses to discovery requests; - Analyze, review and organize documents and data from materials produced during discovery; - Schedule depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations; - Anticipate important deadlines and manage attorney calendar regarding deadlines with heavy calendaring; - Prepare responses to audit requests; - Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel; - Manage and adjust to interruptions, multiple projects with frequently changing priorities. - Monitor and manage document management system; - E-file and E-serve case documents; - Prepare Trial Notebooks; - Enter time in billing system daily - Other duties as assigned.
