Assistant Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a growing commercial builder with nation-wide reach. Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Assisting Project Managers in purchasing and scheduling of various contracts and materials · Management of trade and subordinate personnel · Document control · Coordination of contractors · Participation in bid assignments and safety · Travel to job sites The candidate should possess: · Previous experience in construction management or other related fields · Excellent communication skills · Strong organizational skills Detail oriented · Ability to read and interpret blueprints · AutoCAD proficiency · Problem solving abilities · Ability to prioritize, develop and maintain schedules · Valid driver’s license Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Schedule: Weekends as needed Experience: Organizational skills: 1 year (Required) Construction management: 1 year (Preferred) AutoCAD: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: Franklin, IN 46131: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
