We seek full-time tenure-track faculty at the Assistant Professor rank to begin January 2027. Exceptional candidates may be hired at the rank of Associate Professor. All applicants are considered, with particular interest in faculty with expertise in data science; cybersecurity; AI; networking; game development; extended reality (XR/AR/MR/VR); and/or graphic/visual computing. Candidates will teach face to face, hybrid, or online courses and may teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. We value teaching excellence, student engagement, ongoing professional development, scholarly activity, and service to the department, college, and UWG community.Required QualificationsPhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely-related field from an accredited institution. Candidates nearing completion (ABD) will be considered but must complete the doctoral degree prior to start of a tenure-track appointment. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence, student success, service, and ongoing professional development. SoTL and traditional research are valued.
