Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay Rate: $35.18 – $52.78/hour
Shift: Evenings / Varied (includes call, weekends & holidays)

We are seeking a skilled General Sonographer to join a collaborative and patient-focused team in Waterloo, IA. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment while contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and evaluate sonograms for accuracy
Select appropriate imaging techniques and machine settings
Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
Assist with scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination
Provide leadership support and act as supervisor when needed
Participate in staff training, education, and onboarding
Help manage daily department operations and improve efficiency
Maintain professional standards and support a positive team environment
Schedule & Requirements
Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Evening/varied schedule
Participation in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations required
Qualifications
ARDMS or ARRT certification in Sonography (required)
Strong technical and diagnostic imaging skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Pay: $35.18 - $52.78 per hour
