Join our growing network and discover career opportunities that make a meaningful difference.Position Overview:We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support school-aged children with visual impairments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting accessibility in education and equipped to deliver instruction in specialized areas such as Braille, assistive technology, and orientation and mobility skills.This role may involve in-person, virtual, or hybrid services depending on the placement.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students with visual impairmentsProvide direct instruction in Braille, adaptive technologies, and orientation/mobility skillsConduct assessments to evaluate students' functional vision and learning needsCollaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and service teams to ensure integrated supportTrack student progress and maintain accurate documentationStay current with best practices, technologies, and instructional methods in the fieldQualifications:Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)Experience working with students with visual impairments in educational settingsProficient in Braille and assistive technologyStrong communication and collaboration skillsComfortable using online platforms for instruction and documentationMust hold a valid Pennsylvania license (can reside out-of-state)Benefits:Competitive, bi-weekly compensationFlexible schedule and placement optionsDirect deposit availableReferral program incentives24/7 support from the LETS Therapy teamReady to Make a Difference?
