Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided Flexible working hours Lively atmosphere Food provided **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team on our custom built Mobile Kitchen Trailer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with experience in various kitchen settings. Pooles Pizza highlights gourmet, thin crust pizza as it's main but it also offers a variety of appetizers and other items to appeal to a brewery crowd. The menu is flexible and the Kitchen Mgr would have creative freedom to make menu suggestions and changes. There is also a Catering aspect to the kitchen where creativity is encouraged! **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards - Proposing and creating rotating special menu items and developing catering menus with clients as needed - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders as needed - Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality service **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations - Ability to work well in a team setting - Excellent time management skills - Culinary school diploma or equivalent work experience is a plus **Skills:** - Food production - Kitchen operations - Interviewing techniques - Bartending knowledge - Food service management - Hospitality management - Inventory control procedures - Team management skills - Banquet preparation expertise - Point of Sale (POS) system familiarity Join our team and showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic kitchen environment!
