Position Summary:The Drilling Engineering Technician will report directly to the Appalachia Division Drilling Engineering Manager and is responsible for supporting the Drilling Engineering staff with any functions including, but not limited to, data management, process/workflow improvement & optimization, well design/modelling, and reporting.Responsibilities:Data ManagementDevelop, maintain, present key results for Drilling KPI/metrics using SQL, Python, Power BI, SpotfireWellView data management (data QA/QC, data entry, SQL querying)Support Drilling team with preparation of key presentations at Business Reviews, internal presentations, industry eventsOptimize current MS Excel-based databasesSupport Drilling Engineering workflowsDevelop workflow & process enhancement tools for cost tracking, cost reporting, rig surveillance, regulatory agency reportingCreation of drilling program, AFE, capital expenditures, other engineering projectsDrilling engineering modelling (torque & drag, hydraulics)Coordinate with other teams (Geology, Planning, Regulatory, Land, Completions, Production, Facilities, Environmental Compliance)Review, reconcile, approve drilling engineering invoicesBeing courteous, cooperative, and helpful are conditions of employment with Range.
