IC Analog Design Engineer

Job Summary:AmberSemi is looking for a full time IC Analog Design Engineer to develop disruptive silicon integrated products using innovative, proprietary high voltage, analog-mixed signal & sensing technologies This role will involve working on IC architecture feasibility, silicon design, implementation to final product deployment./span>Duties/Responsibilities:Contribute to the IC silicon design, development of analog-mixed signal, digital systems for AC direct power system productsDrive the IC top-level architecture definition, design of the analog & digital circuits, subsystems Register Transfer Level (RTL) coding, design, implementation & verificationPerform design & simulation for integration of functional units and subsystems into full chipArchitecture, design, simulate and verify analog mixed-signal circuits for optimum power/speed/area efficiencyClosely work with SOC system architects to define mixed-signal design specificationsSupervise the RTL-to-GDS flow and assist with synthesis and timing closureDrive the chip-level integration, test plan development and verificationWork in collaboration with physical design engineers on mixed-signal design chip level planning and integrationClosely work with and supervise layout/mask designers by providing annotated schematics, floor plans, layout, reliability and manufacturability design guidelinesSupport the test program development, chip validation, and product life until production maturityClosely work with product platform architects and packaging team for Power Integrity and Power Distribution Network analysis in mixed-signal design applicationsExperience in back-end design verification tools and flows including debugging LVS and DRC issues in collaboration with the layout teamPerform early prototyping using FPGAs, power system modeling, algorithms, analysis, verification, and performance optimizationStrong communication skills and the ability to work with a geographically distributed engineering
