Maintenance Technician
## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
## Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC system checks, and equipment inspections
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Conduct repairs on machinery, equipment, or structures
- Keep accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
## Skills
- Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
- Strong customer service skills to interact with staff and residents
- Leadership qualities to guide maintenance team effectively
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to perform construction and residential painting tasks
- Familiarity with CMMS and providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience in leadership roles and working with electrical systems
## Transportation/Tools
- Reliable transportation and personal tools required to perform minor household apartment maintenance.
