We are specifically targeting Junior to Mid-Level candidates with 3–5 years of experience.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Database Design Engineer to support database engineering, design, optimization, and data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and relational database experience, along with hands-on knowledge of data modeling, performance tuning, ETL/ELT, and database security.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3–5 years of experience in database engineering, database design, data architecture, or a similar technical role.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing relational database structures.Experience with data modeling for transactional and analytical systems.Hands-on experience with database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and change management practices.Experience supporting ETL/ELT processes, data migrations, and system integrations.Ability to document technical designs and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a team.Preferred QualificationsExperience in financial services, lending, fintech, or regulated environments.Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data warehousing concepts.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar enterprise database platforms.Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management tools.Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or business intelligence initiatives.Knowledge of data governance, audit readiness, and sensitive data handling best practices.
