Production Supervisor

About Us Caf Spice is a growing, multi-site food manufacturer producing ready-to-eat meals for national retail and foodservice customers. We are seeking an experienced Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production facility. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring schedules are met, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency on the production floor Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible to ensure all manufacturing goes smoothly and efficiently by closely monitoring how employees organize their workflows. Key Responsibilities Supervise production employees and daily manufacturing activitiesEnsure production schedules and output goals are metMonitor attendance, tardiness, overtime, and staffing levelsEnforce all safety, GMP, and food safety requirementsTrain, coach, and develop Leads and production employeesProvide performance feedback and complete evaluationsCreate and manage staffing schedulesMonitor labor usage to control overtime and temporary labor costsLead problem-solving and continuous improvement effortsMaintain production reports including labor, waste, downtime, and material usageInitiate and follow up on work orders as neededMaintain employee training recordsEnsure compliance with quality, sanitation, and safety standardsPerform and document required food safety and quality checksWork with QA, Maintenance, Sanitation, and other departments to resolve issuesQualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in food manufacturing in a supervisory or lead roleStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentExperience managing employee schedules and performanceKnowledge of GMP, food safety, and production processesMicrosoft Office experience required (Excel, Word, Outlook)ERP system experience preferredStrong communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWhy Join Caf Spice Competitive compensation and benefits 401(k) with company participation Paid time off and holiday pay Stable, growing food manufacturing company Opportunities for career growth and advancement Team-oriented work environment Fast-paced and dynamic production facility Compensation details:78000-88000 Yearly Salary PI43c4efbe79ae-26289-40037259
