Multimedia Content Specialist

Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department. 2. Capture and edit videos and photos for use in email, on digital media network, on social media and on the Playhouse Square website. Duties to include: management and organization of all media (video, audio and graphics), still and motion graphics creation, output for various formats and distribution platforms. 3. Maintain and manage marketing department video production and photography equipment. 4. Plan, coordinate and execute video and photography shoots including securing locations, coordinating schedules, setting up lighting and optimizing sound capture. 5. Attend designated Playhouse Square events, some of which may occur evenings and weekends, to capture video and photos. 6. Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to understand needs and work creatively and proactively to produce desired assets. 7. Seek out stories and continually pursue new opportunities to advance the Playhouse Square brand using video. Adapt to new technologies, editing techniques and trends. 8. Manage marketing video library and archive project media. 9. Adhere to Playhouse Square brand standards. 10. Other projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Undergraduate degree or 1-3 years of experience creating video content, graphics and motion graphics in arts, sports, communications/public relations, journalism, video production or related field. 2. Experience with mirrorless cameras and pro video camera equipment and operation, video editing, basic lighting techniques and audio recording required. Experience with video editing software including Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience using Vimeo and/or YouTube for managing and uploading video assets; experience using Illustrator and Photoshop a plus. 4. Experience producing video content for Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Reels and TikTok. 5. Experience with capturing and editing photography 6. Curious with the ability to uncover and tell stories, and to generate original concepts as well as work with the ideas of others. 7. Ability to learn new skills quickly, work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible. Available to work some evenings and weekends. 8. Diligent attention to accuracy and detail.
