Software Engineer

JOB TITLE: Software Developer FLSA STATUS: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Public REPORTS TO: IT Manager SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No JOB LOCATION: Remote TRAVEL: 0% ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize best practices and standards in daily work. Help in creating the design documents and unit test documentation. Create scalable web applications across multiple platforms. Help invent new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications. Develop and test code to support inLumon software solutions using modern methods of development (frameworks, web services, cloud deployment, etc). Integrate various API’s. Collaborate with team members on new projects and ideas. Clearly articulate and communicate achievable timelines and deliverables. Document code and team standards. Help define and adhere to website security compliance standards. Cross-browser/cross-device testing. Work on developing, coding, debugging and testing applications. Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results Train and retrain systems when necessary Keep abreast of developments in the field Analyze the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them Ensuring that algorithms generate accurate user recommendations. Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimizing existing machine learning libraries and frameworks. Work with Angular 15/16/17, AngularJS, Microsoft .Net, MVC, JQuery, Javascript, HTML, CSS, C#, Typescript. Work with Web API and Web Services using JSON and XML. Work with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases. Results oriented with demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Ability to resolve problems and present results neatly, with clarity and precision in oral and written form. Ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast paced environment. Display positive attitude with good communication skills and strong reasoning skills.
