Job Summary:
As a Merchant Service Onboarding and Data Entry Specialist, you will facilitate the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a smooth transition to our payment processing services. You will be responsible for accurately entering and managing merchant data, as well as providing support during the setup phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Onboarding: Guide new merchants through the onboarding process, explaining necessary steps, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Data Entry: Accurately input and manage merchant information in the company’s database, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free.
Documentation Management: Collect, verify, and organize documentation required for merchant accounts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Training & Support: Provide initial training and support to merchants on using our services, including payment processing tools and platforms.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for merchants during the onboarding process, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales and customer support, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Reporting: Generate reports on onboarding progress and data accuracy, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or merchant onboarding is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with payment processing systems and merchant services is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of compliance regulations related to payment processing.
Experience with CRM and database management tools.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
