Territory Representative
The Territory Representative is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and service goals primarily within dental clinics and/or dental laboratories in an assigned territory. This role focuses on effectively promoting and selling dental implant products, solutions, and services to both existing and prospective customers while operating within company policies and guidelines.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sales plans for both existing and prospective customers by assessing customer needs and presenting appropriate dental implant products, solutions, and services.Analyze customer activity and territory sales trends to effectively plan sales efforts and achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Maintain regular contact with current customers to strengthen relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and support business growth through creative marketing initiatives.Identify and engage prospective customers, developing strategies to convert competitive accounts into new business opportunities.Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and industry influencers to support market growth and increased market share.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and account activity within CRM systems.Communicate market feedback, product concerns, competitive activity, and customer developments to management in a timely manner.Stay informed on dental implant products, technologies, clinical studies, industry trends, and competitor activity to effectively support sales strategies and customer education.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards while effectively managing territory activities.Establish and maintain an organized travel schedule to ensure consistent coverage of assigned accounts and prospects.Manage assigned territory within approved expense budgets.Complete administrative tasks and reporting requirements accurately and on time.Participate in national and regional trade shows, company meetings, educational programs, study clubs, lunch-and-learn sessions, and training events as appropriate.Job Requirements & Minimum ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.Minimum of 3 years of achievement-oriented sales experience; experience in dental, dental implant, or medical device sales preferred.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Must reside within the assigned territory.Preferred Skills & ExperienceAbility to understand, interpret, and communicate highly technical product and clinical information related to dental implant solutions and industry products.Strong professional sales and relationship-building skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.Bilingual skills, including Spanish, are considered an asset.
