Full-Time Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager oversees and helps with the detailing of pre-owned dealership and customer owned vehicles, ensuring high-quality services, managing the team, and maintaining a profitable department. PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND BEGINS AT $20 AN HOUR. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prompt efficient cleaning of trade-in vehicles in a timely manner while ensuring quality. Hire, train, develop, and review team members. Provide weekly reports for accounting and payroll. Maintain a profitable department, control expenses, control inventory and maintain work area and equipment. Interact with dealership personnel to provide cars ready to sell on a timely basis. QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS: Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Minimum of two years of detailing experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Professional, clean appearance. Basic computer skills – with Reynolds and Reynolds experience. SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm, possible Saturdays COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The compensation for the Assistant Manager begins at $20.00 an hour and depends upon experience.
