Facilities Manager

Job OverviewSeeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the Virginia Beach market. This role requires a strong technician or facilities leader who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and partnering closely with Operations to ensure efficient and safe restaurant operation. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market. Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs. Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for: HVAC systems Commercial refrigeration Kitchen equipment Basic electrical and plumbing systems Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors. Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system). Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements. Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance. Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed. Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget. QualificationsRequired:5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience (restaurant or multi-unit preferred). Strong working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the Virginia Beach area. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred:QSR or restaurant experience. Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, refrigeration). Experience using a work order management system.
