Job DetailsDescriptionPrinciple duties and responsibilities3rd shiftPackaging:Sunday-Thursday, some Friday possible; 11:45pm-08:00am (end time variable)Perform bagging of product in a timely and accurate mannerPerform tracking of product to eliminate out of spec productAssist with tracking, bagging, and labeling productPerform pan dumping in a timely manner without smashing productFollow all company guidelinesFollow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and proceduresReport safety incident to supervisor/management immediatelyReport food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediatelyOther Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist other departments as neededParticipate in plant audit and inspection preparationOther duties as assignedPhysical demandsBe able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly, up to 50 pounds occasionallyBe able to push or pull up to 200 pounds on wheeled equipmentBe able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reachingBe able to stand for majority of shiftBe able to read/write in EnglishBe able to work in high ambient temperaturesQualifications RequiredEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperienceSix (6) months food manufacturing experience preferredAbout UsAlpha Baking Company, Inc. is a national distributor of breads, rolls and buns, as well as sweet goods, and was founded in 1979.
