In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial/industrial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Commercial/Industrial HVAC service calls and equipment diagnostics.
Build strong B2B connections to recommend appropriate products and services.
Ask questions to accurately troubleshoot system issues.
Educate clients on equipment repairs and options, financing, and maintenance plans, build connection.
Represent Team Reding with professionalism and expertise to earn referrals and repeat business.
Work directly with customer service and dispatch to support success and fluid day to day work.
Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle, job site, and properly stocked truck.
Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings.
Mentor and train apprentices to ensure efficient, precise repairs.
Complete all job tasks accurately and on time, including job descriptions, invoicing/closeout, job photos, and related documentation where necessary. Protect businesses from damage while working and leave work environment cleaner than when arrived.
Desired Skills & Experience
Familiarity with local HVAC codes and the ability to apply them in the field. Knowledge of industry equipment, field concepts, practices, procedures, tools and equipment.
Proven experience working with heating and cooling systems.
Highschool diploma/GED
Clean, safe driving record.
Strong organizational skills with excellent follow through.
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.
High integrity, strong social skills, and the ability to build solid customer relationships.
A drive for continuous improvement and growth.
Outgoing personality that thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and always positive.
1–3 years of experience preferred with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
