Our experienced sales and service staff embody this ethos, bringing a personalized touch and a deep knowledge of Ford vehicles to every interaction.We are seeking an organized and motivated Full-Time Service Dispatcher to coordinate workflow within our service department. This role is responsible for assigning repair orders to technicians, managing shop productivity, and ensuring efficient communication between technicians, service advisors, and management. The Service Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining shop efficiency, minimizing technician downtime, and supporting a smooth customer service experience.Schedule: Monday - Friday + Rotating SaturdaysKey Responsibilities:Distribute workload to Service Technicians.Deliver parts, vehicles, or technicians to various locations throughout the dealership or other store locations.Respond to cashier requests by retrieving and staging customer vehicles for pickup.Prepare rental vehicles for customer use, including cleaning, fueling, and staging.Remove trash from Honda South daily using a side-by-side utility vehicle.Assist service advisors, cashiers, and dispatchers with operational and administrative tasks.Consistently follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures.Open and operate car wash facilities when required.Test-drive vehicles on behalf of technicians when requested.Dispatch Saturday shop work assignments to technicians on monthly basis.Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationPerform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Valid Driver's License (required)High School Diploma or GED (required)Previous Automotive Dealership experience working as Dispatcher, Advisor or Service Technician (preferred)Previous experience working in fast-paced work environment (preferred)Work Environment:Fast-paced automotive service departmentFrequent communication with technicians, advisors, and managementPrimarily indoor work environment with occasional shop floor interaction.Ability to stand and move around various service shops and the dealership.Team-oriented dealership culture focused on efficiency and customer satisfactionCompensation and Benefits:Base Salary: $24.04 - $34.61 annualized (based off experience)Benefits Package:MedicalDentalVisionShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term Disability401(k) plan with employer matchPaid Time off and HolidaysEmployee Discounts on vehicles and serviceWhy Choose Forest Lake Ford?At Forest Lake Ford, we're committed to helping you thrive.
