Server/Bartender

*Job Overview* We are seeking a bartender with serving skills to join our team. *The ideal candidate must be 21 or older* and be able to mix drinks and have basic food service skills while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a bartender/server, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, taking food orders, engaging with patrons, delivering food/drinks, bussing tables/bar and ensuring a positive atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. *Duties* * Provide fast and attentive service to customers seated at the bar and the dining area. * Be knowledgable on the food menu, daily food and drink specials. * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Be attentive to running food to tables. * Be attentive to all customers in the establishment. * Handle cash/credit transactions accurately using the register system to ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Learn the register system to ensure fast and accurate handling of food/drink transactions. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing, cleaning and resetting tables. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. * Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. * Work together to restock and clean after rush periods are over. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices. * Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or special occasions to provide seamless service. * Uphold the establishment's standards for quality service while managing time effectively during busy periods. * Learn to work and communicate well with your co-workers, as you all work as a team to provide fast and quality service to the customer base. *Skills* * Must be 21 or older. * Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within bar & grills or restaurants is preferred. * Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. * Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately and responsibly. * Familiarity with register systems for processing transactions smoothly. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * A commitment to maintaining a clean work environment while adhering to health regulations related to food handling. * Experience in large party service is a plus but not required.
