Role SummaryThe Concrete Laborer supports concrete crews by assisting with installation, material staging, cleanup, and general labor tasks. This role ensures work areas remain organized, tools are ready, and safety expectations are followed. The Concrete Laborer contributes directly to production flow and supports the Concrete Foreman in maintaining quality and efficiency on the jobsite.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild InstallSupports placement, forming, and finishing tasks as directed.Assists with preparing work areas, tools, and materials before tasks begin.Follows instructions from the Foreman to complete installations safely and correctly.Material StagingStages materials to support production workflow.Helps unload, organize, and distribute materials as needed.Ensures materials are accessible and properly stored during work activities.CleanupMaintains clean and organized work areas throughout the day.Removes debris and assists with end-of-day site restoration.Supports housekeeping tasks to meet KCS presentation standards.Personal ToolsMaintains personal tools in working condition.Ensures required hand tools are available each day.Reports damaged or missing tools to the Foreman.Safety ComplianceFollows all safety rules, PPE requirements, and jobsite procedures.Participates in daily safety discussions and hazard identification.Reports unsafe behavior or conditions promptly.Key MeasurablesQuality and completeness of labor tasksMaterial staging readinessHousekeeping and jobsite cleanlinessTool readiness and responsibilitySafety compliance and participation
