Escrow Assistant Location : Indianapolis, IN Compensation: $55,000 + full benefits Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–FridayAbout the Opportunity We’re partnering with a long-standing title agency that runs a busy pipeline and does things the right way—clean files, strong internal process, and professional communication with customers. They’re adding a Escrow Assistant to support their Title Officers and closing team by handling commitment/CPL updates, pre-close downdates, and the day-to-day admin work that keeps transactions on track.This is built for someone who has real title experience and understands how important accuracy is when you’re working with recorded documents and time-sensitive closing deadlines.What You’ll Be DoingAnswer emails from customers and internal teams about title file updatesFix and update Title Commitments and CPLs when changes are neededBefore a closing, re-check the file (“downdate”) to see if anything new popped up, and alert the closing team if it didCreate invoices for update work that isn’t tied to a closingIf there’s a title issue, send it to the right person internally so it gets resolved fastPrepare and organize documents and instructions needed for closingKeep files clean and accurate (proofread, file, copy, and stay organized across multiple files)What They’re Looking For1+ year of title industry experience (title office, escrow/title support, title processing support, commitments/CPL exposure)High school diploma or equivalentComfort reading/understanding recorded documents (basic title search knowledge is a plus)Strong attention to detail—this role is quality-driven and deadline-drivenClear written communication (you’ll be working heavily in email) and strong professionalism with customersWhy You’ll Love It ThereSolid benefits package and long-term stabilityConsistent weekday schedule in-office (no shifting hours)A role that’s operationally important—your work directly impacts closing timelines and customer experience MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
