About the Opportunity:The Sr. Program Manager leads delivery and client engagement efforts for a portfolio of strategic contracts. The role ensures strong client relationships, manages program delivery outcomes, and oversees contract and financial performance. This position contributes to building trusted partnerships with government clients and promotes a positive delivery environment that supports mission success.3. Responsibilities:Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with government partners and maintain high situational awareness at the agency levelProactively identify and resolve risks in delivery, processes, staffing, contracts, and financesEngage clients regularly to ensure needs are met or exceeded and maintain transparent communicationMonitor project landscape to identify new opportunities and manage program growth including contract modificationsCollaborate across projects and teams to anticipate and solve delivery challengesSupport delivery environments based on mutual trust between clients and the teamScale delivery efforts through managing project managers and other leadsOversee contracts and finances within the portfolio in coordination with finance teamSet and uphold standards for delivery excellence and client serviceApply organizational policies and guidance at the program levelContribute to development and achievement of company objectives and key results4. Requirements:Experience with custom software or cloud infrastructure projectsExperience working with or for state government agencies, including knowledge of government contracting and complianceProven leadership of agile development teams and large-scale projects with significant complexityFamiliarity with agile frameworks (scrum, kanban, SAFe) and development practices like continuous integration and deliveryStrong communication skills and ability to build empathetic client and team relationshipsProblem-solving skills addressing complex challenges involving multiple organizations and technologiesHighly organized with a focus on sustainable, culture-conscious business growthStrategic delivery and contract management skills for medium- and long-term planningAbility to maintain broad situational awareness beyond immediate teams5.
