We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsRole Summary: Evaluates patients, develops care plan to treat patients, uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care and communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Teaches and mentors other staff and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement. May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department.Your role will include:Evaluating each patient's functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care.Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring thorough, timely documentation that reflects quality outcomes.Educating patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.Leading by example-providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare's mission, values, and commitment to excellence.What qualifications you will need:Required Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational TherapyPreferred Education: NoneRequired License: Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational TherapyPreferred License: NoneRequired Experience: None required - new graduate eligiblePreferred Experience: Clinical affiliations having a wide variety of acute care procedures, especially orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary and care of burns/open wounds are helpful.Angel Medical Center, a member of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare, is a full-service community hospital serving Macon and the surrounding counties.
