Special Education Teacher - URGENTLY HIRING

Position Type Full-Time COMPENSATION : Pays up to $60/hr! Shift1 1st Shift - No weekends Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a valid Pennsylvania Special Education certificate. At least 2 years of experience (3-5 preferred) working with students diagnosed with autism and high-intensity behavioral needs. Must obtain and maintain physical management certification credentials through Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS)/Safety Care. Demonstrated ability to develop classroom strategies that promote an effective teaching and learning environment using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Ability to maintain composure in high-crisis situations and lead the classroom team in appropriate, approved responses. Capable of following Behavior Intervention Plans with consistency and fidelity, while making informed decisions when necessary. Experience applying ABA principles in a clinic or school setting. Design, supervise and implement students’ IEP plans. Create and coordinate student schedules with related services and general education. Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress. Effectively work with large team of professionals needs to coordinate services. Participate in several staff development training courses that focus on working with students with Autism. Implement state of the art strategies to work effectively with students with Autism.
