Controls Engineer - Senior

Sr. Controls Engineering will be responsible for automation and controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up assistance. Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.; and HMI or SCADA programming and configuration of any of the following software packages Wonderware, Rockwell, Intellution, GE, Siemens etc. Panel design and layout, bill of materials, and control and power wiring schematic capabilities are expected with this position. The candidate must have experience: Reading and red-lining PI&D drawings. Producing completed electrical I/O drawings, loop diagrams and control panels Schematics per ISA and NEC utilizing vendor component information . Producing preliminary specification sheets based on ISA standards. Familiarity with NEC and ISA standards. Familiar with, process control and instrumentation operating concepts and fundamentals Interpret and apply technical codes. Interpret and revise instrumentation drawings including ladder logic schematics as required after equipment commissioning. Producing cause and effect charts Producing program and sequence logic diagrams. Producing control descriptions. Producing control and logic diagrams. Producing interlock logic diagrams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
