Program Manager, Physical Security
Overview
As a Program Manager, Physical Security, you design and deploy security and surveillance programs across our retail and cultivation facilities, coordinating installation, compliance, and vendor management. You will travel to locations to oversee projects, educate field teams on security protocols, and ensure regulatory alignment state by state. This hands-on role combines program design with operational deployment and incident response support. You will work with cross-functional partners to scale secure operations and minimize risk, contributing to a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and deploy security and surveillance programs (CCTV, access control, alarms) across the fleetPlan and install security systems in retail and cultivation facilities within scope, time, and budgetManage and support CCTV, alarms, access control, Mass Notification, and Critical Event Management systemsOversee security vendor network and coordinate external partners for locationsPrepare capital allocation proposals and manage project budgets through completionServe as escalation point for day-to-day security system administrationSupport 24/7 Security Operations Center with proactive monitoring and incident responseCoordinate physical security transitions for mergers and acquisitions across sitesEnsure compliance with evolving state security regulations for each operationCommunicate project details with vendors and internal stakeholders; conduct site audits and compliance checks
Key requirements2-4 years of experience with VMS administration and configuration and Network SolutionsVendor-management experienceBachelor’s degree preferredCPP or other industry certifications preferredKnowledge of surveillance hardware, alarms, and access control systemsProven project management experienceProficiency in Microsoft SuiteExcellent relationship-building and communication skillsWillingness to travel up to 50%Valid driver’s license and ability to work in cannabis industry per state requirementsstrong communicatorrelationship builderself-directed and proactiveVMS administration and configurationCCTV systemsAccess control systems
