Human Resources Assistant/Receptionist
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated self starting individual to join our growing team as a Human Resources Assistant/Receptionist. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a traditional receptionist with essential HR tasks and administrative support for executive management. You will help handle incoming customer inquires while supporting key HR functions such as payroll, scheduling interviews, and managing employee records.

This role is a hybrid role which is primarily remote. So you will be working from home 4 days a week and will need access to a computer and reliable internet. There will be a requirement to come into the office one day a week as needed.
Duties
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Greet callers in a friendly and professional manner.
Direct customers to the appropriate team members.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
Receive, sort, and process mail and deliveries.
Provide accurate information to customers and clients, in person, by phone, or via email.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Assist with processing payroll and maintaining employee time records.
Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
Maintain employee records, including onboarding paperwork and benefits documentation.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings and screening resumes.
Assist with employee onboarding and training coordination.
Handle sensitive HR documents and ensure they are properly filed and accessible.
Administrative Support:
Assist executive management with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
Deposit checks and manage bank errands when required.
Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Support company events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Receptionist, Human Resources Assistant, or similar role.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Google Docs).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information.
A professional and resourceful attitude.
Experience with HR software (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex) is a plus but not required.
