Seasonal Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary: This is a seasonal position for a Power Limited Technician responsible for the professional installation of Everlight permanent home lighting systems during peak seasons. This role requires a strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills. The technician will work independently and as part of a team to complete installations efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Installation: Install Everlight permanent home lighting systems according to manufacturer specifications and local electrical codes. Install and connect low-voltage wiring, transformers, controllers, and lighting fixtures. Program and configure lighting control systems for optimal functionality and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with system components or performance. Ensure a clean and organized work area during and after installation. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations. Provide clear explanations of system operation and maintenance. Address any customer concerns or questions in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure customer satisfaction with the completed installation. Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical systems. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment. Other: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to installations. Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and best practices. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1+ years of experience working with low-voltage electrical systems preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of electrical circuits and wiring. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
