Job Title: Compliance EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer to expedite the market introduction of a significant number of products and product variants. The ideal candidate will possess a robust experience in the product certification process, particularly with UL certifications. This role involves collaborating with Electrical Engineers to test, validate, and obtain necessary certifications for precision DC/DC converters and variable frequency drives (VFDs).Responsibilities+ Lead internal projects to establish and maintain compliance with new or changed product standards.+ Work with the New Product Introduction process as both a lead Compliance Engineer and Subject Matter Expert, ensuring new products meet relevant regulations and certification requirements.+ Ensure completion of product compliance deliverables, including compliance assessment, design review, certification and test plan creation, documentation, and process implementation for new product development.+ Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to ensure the supply chain supports product compliance.+ Act as a product compliance interface with domestic and third-party certification agencies such as UL, CSA, TUV, and Intertek.+ Plan and schedule projects of significant and strategic importance to the corporation, including RoHS and REACH.+ Work with management to assess risk and develop strategies for ensuring product compliance.Essential Skills+ Compliance+ UL Standards+ Engineering+ Regulatory Compliance+ Compliance Management+ Electronics+ Low Voltage+ Drives and Controls+ UL 1741+ UL 508A+ UL 6101+ Electrical Engineering+ Compliance EngineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications+ BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with knowledge of basic engineering and manufacturing principles.+ 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Development Engineering Organization, preferably in electronics or electrical equipment manufacturing.+ Experience with environmental regulations, product standards, certifications, and conformance agencies.+ Familiarity with standards such as UL1741, UL508, and UL61800-5-1.+ Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.+ Experience in project management techniques.+ Ability to manage projects from conception to production release.+ Experience with product stewardship, functional safety engineering, and environmental regulations is desirable.Work EnvironmentThis role reports to the HW engineering manager and is based in Franksville, with occasional trips to the ATG site in Milwaukee as required.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Franksville, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/yr.- Medical, dental & vision - Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available - Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) - Short and long-term disability - Health Spending Account (HSA) - Transportation benefits - Employee Assistance Program - Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Franksville,WI.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Mar 31, 2026.Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
