Operations Associate (Investment & Insurance) (San Francisco)
Compensation:Base Salary: $65,000–$90,000 (depending on experience and licensing)Bonus: 5–10% based on accuracy, efficiency, and team contributionLicensing Support: Sponsorship for Series 7 (if not already licensed)Total Compensation Potential: $70,000–$100,000Our client is a collaborative, high-performing wealth management firm with a strong team culture and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional client service. They are seeking an Operations Associate who will play a key role in supporting both investment and insurance operations. This is a highly dynamic, "catch-all" position for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting things right, and wants to be a true team player.This person will start with a focus on investment operations, expand into insurance operations, and ultimately become cross-trained across all operational functions. There is also an opportunity to help build and refine internal processes, including creating and documenting SOPs.Key Responsibilities:Support day-to-day investment operations, including account opening, transfers, money movement, and maintenanceAssist with insurance operations, including application processing, underwriting coordination, and policy trackingServe as a go-to resource for operational tasks across the team ("catch-all" support)Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all transactions and client-related workHelp create, document, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs)Partner closely with advisors and client service team members to ensure a seamless client experienceAssist with ad hoc projects and operational improvements as bandwidth allowsMaintain strong organization and follow-through across multiple systems and prioritiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required2–5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or operationsExperience with investment operations (account opening, transfers, custodians, etc.) preferredExposure to insurance operations is a plus (or willingness to learn quickly)Series 7 license preferred, or willingness to obtain shortly after joiningHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsTeam-first mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever neededComfortable working across multiple systems and processesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate internallyAbility to work in-office in San Francisco 3–4 days per week
