MIG/ Flux Welder

Job Description Summary:This role focuses on welding, fabrication, repair, and installation on industrial equipment and structural steel projects. Candidates typically run 4 concurrent projects spanning conveyor repairs, equipment installs, structural steel fabrication, and new construction work.Work Environment:Industrial job sites, manufacturing facilities, and construction environments. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in varied site conditions. Drive Time: Paid — client compensates for travel to and from job sites.Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG and flux core welding on structural steel and industrial equipmentConveyor system repairs and maintenance weldingEquipment installation — rigging, fitting, and welding components in placeStructural steel fabrication for new construction projectsRead and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawingsMaintain high-quality workmanship and adhere to safety standards on all job sitesManage multiple active projects simultaneously (typically 4 at a time)Requirements & Qualifications Must-Have Skills (Required):MIG Welding | Flux Core Welding | Vertical Position Welds | Blueprint Reading | Comfortable with Heights | Industrial Experience Preferred /Plus Skills:Structural Steel Fab | Conveyor Repair Exp. | Equipment Installs | New Construction Exp. | Multi-Project ManagementPhysical Requirements:Must be comfortable working at heights (elevated platforms, structural steel, aerial lifts).
