Right Price.Title: HVAC Systems EngineerDuration: 8 Months ContractLocation: Andover, MA 01810Shift: Day Shift (Standard Business Hours)Position SummaryServe as a technical subject matter expert for commercial and industrial HVAC systems within a regulated GMP manufacturing environmentSupport design, operation, and continuous improvement of critical utility systems ensuring system reliability, compliance, and energy efficiencyLead troubleshooting, system optimization, and long-term reliability improvements for HVAC infrastructureCollaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, Quality, Validation, and EHS teamsResponsibilitiesHVAC Systems Engineering & Operations:Provide engineering oversight for critical HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, exhaust systems, and associated building automation systemsLead system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and long term reliability improvementsSupport system redesigns and upgrades to meet evolving production and compliance needsCompliance & Quality:Ensure HVAC systems operate in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, internal SOPs, and applicable environmental and safety regulationsSupport inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions by providing technical documentation and subject matter expertisePartner with Quality and Validation teams to support system qualification, change control, and deviation investigationsReliability & Maintenance:Conduct root cause analysis for equipment and system failuresDevelop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategiesPerform condition assessments to proactively identify reliability risks and recommend corrective actionsProject & Stakeholder Management:Provide technical leadership for capital projects, system upgrades, and facility expansionsReview engineering designs, commissioning plans, and vendor submittalsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure projects meet performance and compliance expectationsSupport operations with timely troubleshooting, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplineExperience:Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting HVAC systems in GMP-compliant facilitiesExperience with system qualification, validation, and regulatory inspectionsSkills:Strong expertise in HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, exhaust systems, and building automation systemsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, SOPs, environmental health and safety regulationsRoot cause analysis and reliability focused methodologiesPreventive and predictive maintenance strategy developmentAbility to review engineering designs, commissioning plans, and vendor documentationStrong collaboration and cross-functional communication skillsWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
