Job SummaryThe Senior Application Developer leverages a strong knowledge of programming languages and source codes to create innovative solutions and products.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUtilize structured programming techniques to deliver a high-quality productLead evaluation and analysis of data related to application development in order to improve performance of future versions.Establish budgets and team performance benchmarks and ensure compliance with said guidelines.Track, organize, and accurately document changes made to programming code.Gather input from users and various departments to direct development enhance final product.Mentor and advise junior developers.Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.Position RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience ExperienceMinimum of five (5) years progressive application design or programming experienceMinimum two (2) years mortgage experience Functional/Technical SkillsTechnical Skills:Languages: C#, JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3Databases: Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SSIS)IDE: Microsoft Visual Studio, EclipseScripting: jQuery, JavaScript, HTML Document Object ModelSource Control: Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Serena DimensionsEssential Skills:Experience with object-oriented design and developmentIn-depth knowledge of JavaScript using the HTML Document Object ModelExperience with Web Services and integrationExcellent organization and time management skills.Effective written and spoken communication skills.Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills:Experience in the mortgage industry is a plusEnvironmental/Physical DemandsWork is typically performed in a standard office environment.
