Sr. Systems Administrator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs.Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages.Be able to work in a rapid paced environment at times.Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements.Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed.Interacts with Tier III support and evaluates vendor products.Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.Application of security settings and other commercial bestProvides coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff.SkillsWindows, System administrator, Active directory, Windows server, PowershellTop Skills DetailsWindows,System administrator,Active directory,Windows server,PowershellPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Integration of cyber security tools and systems with network performance, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems highly desired.Candidates with a thorough knowledge of networking principles to included TCP/IP a plus.Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNowITIL v3 Foundation certifiedExperience LevelExpert LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Meade, MD.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
