Join our team as a Lead Service Support Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll coordinate essential laboratory services for scientific research. In this key role, you'll serve as the primary liaison between our customers, service vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective delivery of critical laboratory support services. You'll manage work order processing, coordinate service scheduling, maintain accurate asset records, and implement improvement initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to scientific research while developing your career with an organization committed to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Mon-Fri 8a-4p EST at our client's siteMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or a GED and 4+ years of experience in laboratory operations or customer service environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and OutlookExperience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellence in customer service and relationship managementStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and proactively resolve issuesKnowledge of laboratory equipment and operations preferredPhysical ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 poundsWillingness to wear required PPE (lab coats, safety glasses, etc.)Ability to stand/walk for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyExperience with inventory management and asset trackingCommitment to safety protocols and regulatory complianceDemonstrated problem-solving abilitiesAbility to escort vendors and coordinate service activitiesSupport company values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and InvolvementThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $23.04$34.56. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
