Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and safety Drive a variety of specialized trailers, including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations Follow all federal, state, and local driving laws and company policies during route driving and delivery operations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating different vehicle types (e.g., tanker, flatbed) Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable Knowledge of load securing procedures and safety protocols for transporting various types of freight Experience with route driving and navigating urban or rural areas efficiently Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance Join us as a CDL Driver and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering excellence!
