Responsibilities:
Wash and clean the exterior of trucks and vehicles using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies, including power washers, brushes, and cleaning solutions.
Vacuum and clean the interior of trucks, including upholstery, carpets, and surfaces, to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
Detail the interior and exterior of trucks to restore them to like-new condition, including polishing and waxing exterior surfaces and treating interior surfaces.
Clean and polish chrome and other metal surfaces on trucks to remove oxidation and restore shine.
Inspect trucks for any damages, scratches, or imperfections and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor for further action.
Ensure that all cleaning and detailing tasks are completed according to company standards and guidelines, paying close attention to quality and efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the detailing area, including proper storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience working as a detailer or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry, is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when needed.
Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in vehicle detailing.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Driver’s License is required; CDL is preferred
