REST OF ROLE IS REMOTEPosition OverviewOur Fortune 500 client located in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Technical Agile Project Manager to support enterprise Customer Engagement initiatives within the clients' Business Systems Delivery (BSD) organization. This role will lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects focused on Pega-based platforms, customer operations, and digital transformation initiatives.The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Agile and hybrid delivery environments, with the ability to manage full project lifecycles from planning through implementation. This individual will work closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive execution, ensure alignment, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Program DeliveryPlan, organize, and manage large-scale, cross-functional IT projects with significant business impactDevelop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and work plans, ensuring alignment with business objectivesBalance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to drive successful project outcomesMonitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions as neededAgile Delivery LeadershipLead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesSupport Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall delivery models as requiredEnsure adherence to SDLC and DevOps best practicesPartner with Scrum Masters and delivery teams to drive continuous improvementStakeholder & Communication ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership teamsCommunicate project status, risks, and key decisions through reports, dashboards, and executive presentationsBuild and maintain strong relationships across cross-functional and geographically distributed teamsDelivery Governance & ExecutionEnsure compliance with Azure DevOps processes for tracking tasks, defects, and progressDefine release scope and schedules, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of business valueIdentify and remove delivery impediments, escalating risks when necessaryOversee quality assurance processes and support testing, validation, and knowledge transferTeam Leadership & CoordinationLead and mentor project teams, defining roles and responsibilities to optimize performanceCoordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, and subcontractorsFoster a collaborative, high-performance team environmentContinuous Improvement & Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities for process improvement, reuse, and efficiency gainsDefine and maintain project management processes, standards, and best practicesDrive data-driven decision making through metrics, KPIs, and performance trackingRequired QualificationsStrong experience as a Technical Project Manager / Agile Delivery Lead in enterprise environmentsDeep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, SDLC, and DevOps methodologiesProven experience managing complex, cross-functional IT projectsExperience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and delivery managementStrong experience with API integrations and cloud-based project delivery (Azure preferred)Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, risks, and competing prioritiesExcellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environmentTechnical SkillsMust HaveAgile Delivery LeadershipTechnical Project ManagementAPI IntegrationCloud Migration / Cloud Delivery ManagementAzure DevOpsProduct Roadmap Development & CommunicationStrong Stakeholder ManagementExcellent Communication SkillsNice to HaveExperience with Pega platformsExperience in Customer Engagement or Utilities domainAgile certifications (Scrum, SAFe, PMP)About Seneca ResourcesAt Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
