As an AI Engagement Architect, you will work closely with Market Units, solution experts, enterprise architects, and delivery teams within the region and to increase AI Adoption - Joule, Embedded AI and custom AI solutions based on BTP, helping customers and internal teams accelerate their intelligent enterprise journey.The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in SAP Business AI and SAP BTP with strong customer engagement skills. This role is the technical backbone of our AI adoption motion and is ideal for someone passionate about AI, automation, and innovation enablement,Key ResponsibilitiesProvide architectural expertise on embedded AI capabilities across SAP Business Suite applicationsSupport Joule architecture, enablement, and activation across Lines of Business, aligned with Unified Joule StrategyDesign and deploy Joule Agents and Assistants, including hands-on development of custom agents using Joule StudioBuild proof of concepts, demos, and reference architectures showcasing applied AI, intelligent automation, and agent-driven scenariosEngage with account teams and customers to identify, shape, and pilot high-value AI and automation use casesSupport architecture, governance, and security discussions with customers to remove adoption barriers and accelerate AI consumptionClearly articulate the value of AI and automation, accelerate adoption roadmaps, and guide customers from experimentation to scaleInternal Enablement & Thought LeadershipCreate enablement assets, technical guides, and best practice frameworks for CS&D, BTP, and regional teamsContribute to AI workshops, hackathons, and deep-dive sessionsStay current on SAP Business AI portfolio, SAP BTP advancements, and emerging agentic AI capabilitiesTechnical Advocacy and Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary technical voice for Business AI and automation, influencing stakeholders from MU and delivery teamsPartner with regional delivery and customer engagement teams to drive consistent, aligned engagement across AI opportunitiesCollaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure AI technical recommendations align with broader architectural directionQualifications8+ years of expertise in SAP technical or customer facing rolesHands-on experience with SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, SAP Build, and Joule StudioBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fieldFamiliarity with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, Vector Engines, Knowledge Graphs.Prior experience in customer facing roles - consulting, pre-sales, or customer successStrong communication and stakeholder management skills - able to influence both technical and non-technical audiencesAn AI-Powered Mindset with the ability to connect technology to real business outcomesPreferred SkillsSAP certification in SAP BTP or relevant AI modulesExperience with Joule and agent-based activationsExperience with at least one functional domain - Finance, Supply Chain, or HRExposure to ABAP-based AI integrations and hybrid SAP landscapesExperience working with APIs, AI SDKs, LLM frameworks, and cloud AI servicesExperience delivering hands-on demos and proof of concept builds to executive audiencesBring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
