Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to support enterprise cloud security initiatives across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud security operations, DevSecOps, IAM, container security, CSPM/CIEM, and security monitoring tools.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support security controls across enterprise AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security events using Splunk, cloud-native security tools, and enterprise security platforms.Review, analyze, prioritize, and remediate CSPM and CIEM findings, including excessive IAM permissions, cloud misconfigurations, and privilege-related security risks.Secure containerized workloads and cloud-native environments, including Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, and AWS Fargate.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.3+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering, Cloud Security Operations, DevSecOps, or a related cybersecurity role.Hands-on experience securing AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.Experience with cloud security services and tools such as AWS Security Hub, Amazon GuardDuty, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Splunk, CSPM, CIEM, and CNAPP platforms.Strong understanding of Cloud IAM, least-privilege access, identity security, excessive permissions, and cloud misconfigurations.Experience securing Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and containerized workloads.Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
