weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminationsInstalls control and distribution apparatus’ and fastens in placeTest and start up systems and continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of componentsObserves functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacementMay be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipmentWork with high and low voltage systemsDisassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systemsOperate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical toolsEstimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.QualificationsMay require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement toolsJob RequirementsThe person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site,so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlConstantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor Weather conditionsWork irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as requiredMay be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to accessrequired equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb andmaintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffoldsMove and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfacesMust be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environmentMay be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds acrossConstruction/Industrial SiteMust have required toolsMay require U.S. Driver LicenseObserve and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as requiredAbility to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, and fit for duty medicalWork EnvironmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.May be required to complete continuing education courses as required to keep all certifications and licenses current;
