Demonstrates best practice and accountability in the performance of safe and effective assessment, reassessment, development, and implementation of the patient's therapy plan of care. Consults with other disciplines, as required, to coordinate patient care services.2. Delegates appropriately to physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides to support patient needs while maintaining accountability for the care plan. Understands the competency level of those delegated to, and supports learning and teaching opportunities to further enhance the skill set of care team members.3. Completes accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with professional and compliance standards to ensure accurate billing and coding to maximize reimbursement and compliance.4. Assists in the development of standards of care, preferred practice patterns, protocols, and clinical procedures using evidence-based practice to ensure quality care.5.
