Full Stack Engineer (React + Python) | U.S. Defense AI Program

Location: Remote (U.S.) – Occasional Onsite Meetings Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $120,000 per year Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Preferred Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship Required About the Role We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable web applications supporting advanced defense and AI initiatives. This role involves developing modern, mission-critical software platforms focused on operational planning, predictive analytics, and enterprise applications. What You'll Do Develop modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript. Build backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI. Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases. Develop secure, scalable cloud-native applications. Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. Integrate AI-enabled workflows and modern developer tooling. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizen (mandatory). 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong experience with: React TypeScript Python FastAPI PostgreSQL Experience building APIs and distributed applications. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Git and modern software development practices. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Active Secret Security Clearance. Previous DoD, Navy, military, or government contractor experience. Experience working in regulated or mission-critical environments. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
