Information Security Analyst - Clearance Required

Job Description: We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to serve as a key leader responsible for the Information Assurance (IA) posture of enterprise networks and systems supporting a mission-critical program. This individual will lead cybersecurity efforts to ensure systems meet stringent compliance, risk management, and security standards across a complex DoD environment. In this role, you will oversee the protection of critical infrastructure and information systems by implementing robust security controls, conducting risk assessments, and guiding certification and accreditation activities at locations like NAS Patuxent River, MD. Responsibilities include:Serve as the team lead for Information Assurance (IA) efforts across enterprise networks and systemsSupport system certification and accreditation (C&A) processes, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and frameworksPlan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures to safeguard systems, networks, and dataConduct vulnerability assessments and identify security risks across systems and infrastructureDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilitiesEnsure appropriate security controls are in place to protect digital assets and critical infrastructureLead the development and maintenance of IA documentation to support system certification and compliance effortsPerform analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of secure network and system environmentsGuide teams in secure system design, test planning, execution, and implementation of cybersecurity mechanisms Here's what you need (Required Qualifications):Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related fieldsAt least 5 years of experience supporting all phases of IA and cybersecurity for DoD Component enterprise-wide IT systemsAt least 5 years of hands-on experience in:Secure network and system designSecurity analysis and risk assessmentTest procedure development and executionImplementation of computer and network security mechanismsStrong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and accreditation processesProven ability to lead cybersecurity efforts in complex, enterprise-level environments5 years of experience in all phases of IA accreditation process for TOP SECRET networksActive CISSP or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Bonus Points If You Have (Desired Qualifications):Experience supporting Mission Systems Network Engineering initiativesExperience supporting NAVAIR/NAWCAD network engineering projects Security Clearance:Active DoD TOP SECRET Education:B.S. in technical discipline desired Work Schedule:Onsite, Monday-Friday Compensation and Benefits: The projected compensation range for this position is $132,000-158,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
