Associate Veterinarian

Seeking: Veterinarian who is passionate about honoring the bond between people and their pets while treating urgent concerns. Our practice was inspired by the life and memory of Dr. Bellows’ heart dog Annie. Our clinic opened in July of 2025 and continues to grow as we serve our community and their pets. Our clinic values are excellence, transparency, communication, community and collaboration. Job Position Your role is to focus on immediate clinical care. From a simple ear infection to a life-threatening obstruction, you will provide diagnoses and treatments that give comfort to our patients and the people who love them. We have an open clinic model, allowing clients to be present throughout the process, providing transparency and reducing the stress of separation.   Assessment: Triaging cases and mapping out a diagnostic and treatment plan. Stabilization: Handling cases of all sizes and the ability to evaluate and treat emergency cases. Intervention: Stepping into the surgical suite to treat lacerations, foreign bodies, urinary obstructions, and more. What Makes Us UniqueBeautiful new facility - lots of space and calming environment, we would love to give you a tour!We see sled dogs!  Our vet works with several of the local races and kennels, we see a sled dog almost every day we are open.  A small passionate team, we enjoy collaborating to create a clinic we are proud of.  We enjoy rewarding cases and also enjoying everything Alaska has to offer. The Perfect Candidate We are looking for a veterinarian who is ready to move beyond routine practice and tackle a diverse caseload.
