Sales Representative
Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a company specializing in contract furniture sales, design, and interior consulting. This role focuses on developing new business through relationship-driven, project-based sales within workplace environments. The ideal candidate will manage long sales cycles, collaborate with internal design teams, and work closely with multiple client stakeholders to deliver customized, solutions-based offerings.Key Responsibilities:Develop new business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship buildingManage full sales cycle for project-based opportunities, from prospecting to closeLead client engagements supported by internal designers and project teamsSell comprehensive workplace solutions rather than transactional productsNavigate and manage long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makersCollaborate with executives, HR, finance, and corporate real estate stakeholdersLead and manage RFP processes, including proposal development and presentationsMaintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track progress through CRM systemsStay informed on industry trends, workplace design innovations, and client needsRequirements include:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field preferredExperience:Proven experience in project-based or consultative sales environmentsBackground in architecture & design (A&D), corporate real estate, or contract furniture sales preferredExperience selling products such as lighting, medical furniture, A/V solutions, or workspace design offeringsExperience working with or selling into organizations similar to Hill-Rom, Stryker, or Humanscale is a plusSkills:Strong relationship-building and networking abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processesAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailProficiency in CRM tools and proposal developmentCertifications:Relevant sales or industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, LEED accreditation)Knowledge:Understanding of workplace design, contract furniture, and interior solutionsFamiliarity with RFP processes and long-cycle sales strategiesKnowledge of corporate real estate and workplace planning trendsAwareness of competitive landscape within furniture and design industriesKey Competencies:Outgoing, polished, and confident presenceStrategic thinker with a consultative sales approachStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAbility to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholdersHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex projectsSelf-motivated with a results-driven mindsetHow to Apply: To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
