Production Artist

Our client, a fast-growing apparel company, is looking for a Production Artist to join their team in NYC!Responsibilities:Prepare production-ready artwork for graphics, prints, and trims, ensuring accuracy for factory useDevelop detailed specifications for hangtags, labels, and related packaging componentsCollaborate closely with the design team to align bill of materials (BOMs) and graphic elementsPartner with production to review strike-offs, provide feedback, and revise artwork as neededManage individual workload and timelines to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in cross-functional meetings to support communication across teamsCreate and maintain seasonal color palettes and presentation materialsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field2–3 years of experience in the fashion industry; background in children’s apparel is a plusUnderstanding of textile repeats, fabric types, and production techniques is preferredAdvanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopHighly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlinesStrong visual sensibility with a keen eye for color, detail, and overall design quality
