Operations Support Technician

Overview: As an Operations Support Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring that MDS products and documentation meet our customers’ exacting requirements. Through ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of production and quality records, your participation in the production team will contribute to the overall success of MDS operations. You will work closely with the other MDS team members to maintain high standards, achieve MDS key performance objectives while modelling MDS core values. Duties: Review and Close Production Orders: Ensure all production orders are accurately completed and closed in the system. Quality Documentation Review: Audit inspection reports, test results, and other quality-related documents for completeness and compliance. Data Accuracy and Compliance: Identify discrepancies or missing information and work with relevant teams to resolve issues. Document Control Support: Assist in organizing, updating, and retrieving controlled documents. Maintain Manufacturing Documentation: Verify and archive production and quality records. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth documentation flow. Continuous improvement: Support both product and process improvement to achieve MDS performance objectives. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED certificate or technical certification (preferred). 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment. Understanding of production workflows and quality documentation. Proficient in MS office. Knowledge of an ERP system is beneficial. Must have a high attention to detail. Must be able to work in a team environment Requires the ability to read and interpret technical product related information such as detailed engineering drawings (inc.
